The artist’s inspiration for the artwork:

New York has always held a special place in my heart. In the late 1990s, the Art Expo became my first real introduction to the art world, opening the door to new opportunities and setting my family and me on a path of discovery, adventure, and exciting new beginnings.

On our most recent trip to New York to hear our children sing at Carnegie Hall, everything came full circle. The spring blooms, the beautiful light, and the crisp spring air created the very scene I had hoped to paint for many years. In that moment, the inspiration came together, giving life to a new series that feels both deeply personal and long overdue.
